AP Calc: Week 8 - Chain Rule N' Stuff

So many things. I don't even know how to explain all of the stuff we have been learning. When Cresswell said that everything adds up, he wasnt kidding. If you miss or don't understnad one thing, everything becomes really confusing. My problem is remembering which rule is which, and not getting derivatives and anti-derivatives mixed up. All of the rules are very similar, sometimes just changing by a plus or a minus, so keeping them separated is REALLY hard. I definitely feel that we need to practice more in class with these, and just keep walking through different kinds of problems until we all understand. We have learned a lot in a short amount of time and it does get a little overwhelming after a while! I hope that we go over that packet on monday because I could only figure out two of the problems!

Remember the good old days when we learned the trick of derivatives and everything was really easy for a few days? I miss that. Those days are long gone. We have been using the whiteboards more than ever to solve these really confusing problems. I just hope I start to understand everything soon!
