This has been a week full of tragic reflection. We finished and discussed Antigone, and we are looking ahead at our Tragedy Reflection papers. However, I think one of the biggest things we have learned this week is about time management. With the copious amount of blogs and essays we have to write, along with making time to study for other classes, we have had to learn how to manage our time to fit everything in while learning as much as possible. We have had to keep track of everything we need to turn in by a certain date while still learning and keeping up on the new assignments. One of the things I have learned this week is how to read articles and write blogs without spending too much time on them. By paying more attention the first time I read an article, and thinking about what i am going to write about as I read the article or watch the TED Talk, I have been able to write blog posts much more effieciently. It's also become easier to write them with practice, and we have gotten much of that this marking period. I hope that these blogs assist with writing the Tragedy Reflection Paper, and that everything ties together. I've learned that we should all be using the time we get in class wisely, and if we dont, we will regret it later on. I've learned that it might have been a smart idea for me to have switched books earlier on when I first realized I didn't enjoy the novel. Now I am in a situation where I must finish the story, and write a paper on it, when it is a book I can hardly understand. I am definitely going to remember that one for the rest of the year, because I never again want to be in the situation of writing a paper on a book that I do not understand. Overall, this week has been one of reflection and tragedies, along with time management. These tools will be used throughout the entire school year, and really our entire lives.
