AP Calc: Week 14 - I'm Okay, I think.

This week we have focused on weird word problems and how to optimize them. The real tricky part about this section is figuring out what equations to use. Once you find those, things go pretty smoothly. Normally I am awful at word problems, but the more I have done these the more I have gotten better at finding the patterns to locate the equations. There are just so many equations that are out there it's hard to find which ones fit to the specific problem! The other issue with these problems is that each one is different, like completely different. They have a different story, equations, and they are usually asking for a different answer such as volume or dimensions. However, I somehow managed to do pretty well on the quiz, so I was pretty excited about that. I hope that the more I do these the easier they will become.

So overall in regards to this class, this week was pretty okay. Not too incredibly easy, but not insanely hard either. Hopefully it will stay like this for a little while! (Although I highly doubt it will) One major thing I could work on is doing the CCC's. I keep forgetting!! I need to make sure I do them! Otherwise, its all good!
